Form structural engineers was founded by Dr Neil Cameron, a Chartered Structural Engineer, with 20 years experience. With a studio in Edinburgh we are consulting engineers with a curiosity and passion for structural engineering and the contribution it makes to the built environment.

Prior to founding form Neil worked with Whitby Bird in London, SKM Anthony Hunt in Edinburgh and Jacobs in France. This gave him experience in projects ranging in size from residential extensions to football stadiums to nuclear power stations.

We provide a focused engineering service which is:

Forward thinking – in developing solutions using new materials and digital engineering

Technical – with our university research and nuclear design experience we can go beyond the standard design codes and develop solutions that are only achievable when designing from first principles

We consider ourselves technical generalists; we enjoy traditional engineering but if you wish to push the envelope, we provide specialist services in digital engineering, structural dynamics, earthquake engineering and 3D finite element analysis.
